All content is created by authors with demonstrable experience in the financial sector. Our requirements for authors:

• At least 3 years of practical experience in options trading or financial market analysis
• Solid knowledge of relevant regulation (BaFin, MiFID II, ESMA)
• Understanding of the tax framework for German investors
• Every article is reviewed by at least one other team member

3. Research & Fact-Checking

Our research process follows a structured approach:

• Primary sources: Official regulatory documents (BaFin, ESMA), legislation (EStG, WpHG), broker documentation
• Numbers and statistics are verified against at least two independent sources
• Tax information is regularly compared with current BMF circulars and BFH rulings
• Broker data (fees, conditions) is verified directly on official broker websites

4. Updates & Freshness

Financial information becomes outdated quickly. Therefore, the following update guidelines apply:

• Broker comparisons: Quarterly review of all fees and conditions
• Tax and regulation pages: Updated with every relevant legislative change
• Strategy guides: Annual review for content accuracy
• Every article displays the date of its last update

5. Broker Reviews & Independence

Our broker reviews are based on a transparent rating system with weighted criteria. The following applies:

• No broker can buy or influence their rating
• The editorial team works independently — ratings are not influenced by business relationships
