Education only

BeInOptions India (beinoptions.com/in) publishes general educational material about how options and other exchange-traded derivatives work in India. Everything on this site is meant to explain concepts, rules and costs.

Nothing on this site is investment advice, research, a recommendation, a tip, a trade call or an offer to buy or sell any security, derivative or other financial product. We do not tell you what to buy, sell or hold, and we do not forecast prices.

We are not registered with SEBI

BeInOptions is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an investment adviser, research analyst, stock broker, portfolio manager or in any other capacity, and is not registered with any stock exchange as an authorised person. Before acting on any decision about your money, speak to a SEBI-registered investment adviser.

Examples and market data

Worked examples use illustrative values such as "an index at 25,000" chosen to make the arithmetic easy to follow. They are not current market prices and not a view on where any index or stock is going.

Where we show prices of a named security, they are at least 30 days old, in line with SEBI's rules on market data used for education. Our calculators use only the numbers you enter; they do not fetch live quotes.

Rules, lot sizes, charges and taxes change. Each page shows the date its figures were checked and links to the source. Always confirm current figures with your broker, the exchange or SEBI before you trade.

Broker links

Our broker pages list SEBI-registered stock brokers so you can compare their published charges and features. Listing is not an endorsement. Some links may be referral links; if you open an account through one, the broker may pay us a referral fee. That never changes what we write, and broker pages say so where it applies.

We do not list or link to platforms offering forex or CFD trading to Indian residents outside recognised Indian exchanges. The Reserve Bank of India publishes an Alert List of unauthorised forex trading platforms; trading on them is not permitted for residents.

Risk

Trading in futures and options can lose you more than you expect, quickly. Most individual traders in equity F&O lose money, as SEBI's studies show year after year. Only trade with money you can afford to lose, and understand the product, its margin and its costs first.

Accuracy and liability

We work to keep the material accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete, current or free of errors. To the extent permitted by law, BeInOptions is not liable for any loss arising from the use of this site or reliance on its content.
